Herbert Bayer In this paper we will examine the art and design of Herbert Bayer. We will see that he is not only known as a painter, but also as a designer, photographer and typographer. We will look first at his early history, and then examine in more depth his years with the Bauhaus, and follow that up with his work in typography and commercial arts.
