An Analysis of the Michelangelo's Ceiling Frescos in the Sistine Chapel This paper will seek to analyze the Sistine Chapel, and the various frescos painted on the ceiling by Michelangelo during the sixteenth century. By revealing the major frescoes in this building, such as the Last Judgment, we can understand the depth of humanistic ideology, which was present in the Vatican's choice in allowing Michelangelo to create the beautiful story of Christ in this artistic form.
