Procedures of Government Policy and Gay Marriages This paper discusses the steps gay couples have taken to make it legal for them to marry. The paper shows how the gay couples have gone to state's supreme courts and even the Supreme Court of the United States. They argue that it should be legal to marriage because of human rights. Most opponents of gay marriages are due to the sacredness of marriage and no one wants to take away from the importance of families.
