Political Studies: Agreeing with the Idea of Limited Office for California State Legislators In this paper we have found that term limits are successful in limiting powerful special interests groups and promoting ethical public policy for the mass majority of people. By refusing to place a lifetime ban on term limitations, the ability of 2-4 year limits on public office is effective for the greater good of the people of the state of California.
