J. Henry Kaiser, Liberty Ships during World War II, and the Development of Shipbuilding
This paper describes the contributions that J. Henry Kaiser made to the United States war effort during World War II as well as to subsequent shipbuilding with the production methods he employed building the famed Liberty Ships of World War II. A description of his methods, including the ways in which Kaiser reshaped the face of modern shipbuilding is examined here.
