This paper will present a discussion of biotechnology and agriculture. Current issues in both subjects will be examined. As well current issues and trends in the area of biotechnology and its use in agriculture will be discussed. Views in support of the use of biotechnology in agriculture along with opposing views will be presented in the discussion.
